Due to the nature of the HUMSS strand which involves extensive reading, research, and critical thinking you need to develop a strong work ethic which means that you need to be willing to accomplish your tasks and not laze around.
3. Develop an effective time management - Developing an effective time management is always crucial to any tasks ahead not only are you managing your time by setting specific goals that you need to achieve in a specific time you set you are also giving yourself an opportunity to excel academically and have a personal time for you to enjoy yourself by limiting what you do and not overdoing anything.
4. Participate Actively - For any aspiring HUMSS strand students, you need to participate in class discussions which helps you understand the subject that is being discussed, helps you build strong relationships from your teachers and peers, and it will also help you gain self-confidence.
5. Balance your life - Don’t forget to maintain a healthy study-life balance. Take breaks and don’t burn out yourself studying. Having a break and being physically and mentally healthy will make your life easier in the strand.
6. Self-Motivation - Lastly, you need to develop self-motivation and discipline.
