  The Philippines has a rich culture, yet the new generation often bypass it. They patronize foreign culture and often leave their culture behind. We’re Filipinos yet we look like foreigners in our own land due to globalization and lack of care on our own beautiful culture.  Let’s rediscover and preserve the beauty of our own culture for our culture is our own soul! The Philippines has a rich historical background and has diverse cultural landscape that has been developed through generations. Ranging from different indigenous traditions, languages, multiple historical sites, and rich artistic masterpieces. However, the fast-changing world around us may dominate our culture thanks to globalization and modernization. Different cultural aspects of the Philippines are at risk of disappearing thanks to the patronage of foreign culture where its most prevalent on the younger generation supporting their favorite foreign groups, music, way of speaking etc. where they set aside their own culture.
